CORE News

CORE News is an accessible newspaper created by adults with learning disabilities for the wider community. The purpose of CORE News is to inform people on low incomes about affordable activities and places to go within London. The group research, review, take photos and create articles and videos which are printed in the newspaper and sent out to community groups within London.

The CORE News team learn a lot of new skills and build on existing ones such photography, computer skills, confidence building, meeting new people and going to new and exciting places.

Everyone in the group are working towards an NOCN qualification in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development.

The CORE News group runs every Monday and Tuesday.
